I started with a Python-and-SQL technical screen that took a while—roughly a couple of hours (maybe 2–3) to work through the problems.

The tasks themselves weren’t described as extremely hard, but the whole thing dragged, and the way the session ran made it feel worse than it needed to be.

The interviewer’s engagement was the biggest issue. I didn’t feel like the person was actually listening; the responses to my answers were essentially the same brief acknowledgment, with no real follow-up. Even the questions felt unclear, like I was struggling to interpret what was being asked in the first place. I also remember hearing traffic in the background, which added to the off-putting vibe.
