I interviewed for the Consultant role with mostly conversational video rounds that felt low-technical, and it still didn’t end in an offer.

Recruiter screen — I spoke with the internal recruiter to align on role expectations.
Video interview (Principal Consultant) — I discussed my projects and what I was looking for.
Video interview (Director) — I continued in a similar conversational style, focusing on overview rather than heavy technical depth. Outcome: No offer, and my takeaway was that being “near offer” in tone didn’t guarantee follow-through.
