My process started with a recruiter screening that felt great, and then I moved into an interview with a resource manager.

That second interview was difficult in a very specific way: it seemed to go well at first because there was good rapport, but the interviewer asked me almost no questions. He basically told me to walk through my resume and didn’t follow up, so I couldn’t really demonstrate how my experience matched what the role needed.

I expected a conversation that tested specifics, but it stayed at a high level. A few days later, I was told I wasn’t qualified. That outcome felt confusing because I didn’t get the kind of pointed prompts that would let me connect my background to their requirements.
