Waterloo, ONPosted May 2015 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

My process felt straightforward but also long, and it was run in a way that kept updates moving frequently.

Over the phone, the conversations were direct and very much centered on my resume and how my experience aligned with the role. They made it clear that my resume should do the heavy lifting, while I also needed to elaborate on the parts of my experience that matched what they were hiring for.

What stayed with me was the emphasis on being honest—there was a strong ethical message behind not exaggerating or lying on my application materials. I didn’t get an offer, but I appreciated how cleanly the process communicated what they valued and how they expected candidates to present themselves.
