After the interview, I felt like the process itself didn’t end up being too intense.

The people I met came across as really nice, and even my previous boss seemed genuinely pleased that I’d gotten that far. I was honestly hopeful throughout, thinking I’d love the chance to work there and maybe join later if the timing didn’t work out this round.

Still, I didn’t get the job, and I accepted that there was a reason it didn’t fall my way. The whole experience left me with a mixed feeling: appreciation for the friendly environment, but also the reality that I wasn’t the right fit for what they needed at the time.
