Pasadena, CAPosted Jan 2017 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I had an unexpectedly smooth timeline for a Software Engineer interview, with quick movement from early conversations to a final decision in about a month.

Initial contact / conversation — I discussed my background and interests in a low-friction screen.
In-person / departmental discussion — I met with the hiring side to go over my resume and confirm fit.
Follow-up and scheduling logistics — HR moved quickly to send an offer (or finalize next steps), including orientation scheduling in one case. Outcome: I didn’t report an offer for every instance in this group, but the shared takeaway where offers happened was that once they were ready, the process moved fast and felt efficient rather than intensely evaluative.
