Motive Software Engineer interview experience

I ended up doing five rounds total, and each one ran about an hour. The topics stretched across OOPS concepts and data handling, and then moved into machine learning.

Beyond those five, there were additional rounds that were more purely centered on deep learning and MLOps concepts. The difficulty level felt high from the start and kept tightening as the questions progressed toward ML systems and operational practices. I didn’t receive an offer, and the overall feeling was that the bar was set for someone who could go beyond core software engineering and comfortably operate in ML-heavy
