Morgan Stanley Investment Banking Analyst interview experience

For the first round, my experience didn’t match what I’d heard from others—my interviewer was part of the accounts side and the questions felt difficult.

I was rejected in that first round itself, so I didn’t make it to the second conversation that would’ve been the HR stage. The process was short and final.

My reflection afterward was mostly about timing and fit—sometimes the level and specialization of the first round determines everything, regardless of the later rounds’ format.
