San Francisco, CAPosted May 2026 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I interviewed for a solutions-architect / sales-engineer type role focused on Atlas DB, and the process felt clear and fairly well coordinated.

The recruiter and the team were supportive, and the overall environment and technical challenges felt different from my current job in a way that was genuinely positive.

The steps were explained along the way, and I left each conversation feeling like I understood what they were looking for. I did run into a mismatch in key areas by the time it was time to move forward, though, so I didn’t make it to an offer phase. Looking back, the experience itself was constructive, but the fit for the specific skill profile they needed just wasn’t quite there for me.
