My process began with a recruiter call where we talked about my background and what I wanted from the role.

A bit later, I joined a Teams meeting with the technical manager for about an hour, and the tone felt supportive from the start. We went through how I’d work through problems and I was asked about run-time and space complexity, common design principles, design patterns, and the fundamentals of data structures.

After that first manager conversation, I had additional recruiter screening touchpoints before the hiring manager interview was fully scheduled. Those screens focused on professional experience and familiarity with relevant topics, and everything felt organized on the scheduling side.
