Boston, MAPosted Apr 2026 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I had a brief phone screening for a wireless research role, about 15 minutes with an engineer.

It wasn’t overly formal; the interviewer started by explaining the team and the position, then quickly moved into my background.

Most of the discussion focused on my experience with wireless communication and signal processing, how I’d worked with RF systems and I/Q data, and whether I’d done anything involving machine learning or research-style projects. Because it was short, it felt like a fast filter on whether my resume actually matched the work the team would do.

Overall, it felt smooth and direct, and I didn’t get an offer from that step since it was clearly early in the process.
