McLean, VAPosted Jul 2012 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I applied online and, after a few weeks, got an email for a phone interview.

That call focused on my background and my comfort with different programming languages rather than anything very deep. About a week and a half later, I was invited to come in, and travel and lodging were handled for me.

The on-site experience felt almost procedural. I was taken through an in-person set of interviews that totaled about seven hours, with a sequence of one-on-one meetings. Most of what I experienced was them talking about what they did and how the role would fit in, and I didn’t get hit with technical questions. A few days after the on-site, I received an offer.
