Mitel Networks Software Engineer interview experience

The process I went through felt light and heavily centered on personality rather than technical depth.

I barely touched on technical questions at all, and the conversations were mostly about how I came across as a person and how I fit.

It was surprisingly quick: I received an email with an offer the same day in the evening, and the interviewers were kind and easy to talk to. Everything moved smoothly, with my questions getting answered without friction.

The reflection I left with was that this particular round sequence was very compatibility-focused. I did receive an offer, and compared to typical engineering interviews, it was more about tone and presence than coding ability.
