Cambridge, MAPosted Jul 2011 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

My path into the role was fairly straightforward compared to the deeper multi-round processes I’d heard about.

It began with one-on-one interviewing that was supported by advisor recommendations, and the fact that I’d presented at conferences earlier helped position me before I ever sat down with anyone.

The interview itself leaned technical in a positive way, and it felt like the conversation had a clear purpose. I didn’t get an offer, but the overall experience stayed constructive and easy to navigate from a format standpoint—more a focused evaluation than a prolonged gauntlet.
