My process felt brutally long and drawn out, even though the steps were described as routine.

It started with a phone screening through a staffing agency, then progressed through a recruiter, office manager, consulting manager, and then a face-to-face meeting with several people plus a stress test. There were promises of an offer along the way, but then the flow kept going.

After the in-person portion, I was pulled into yet another phone interview and then a background check that seemed to never truly close.
