I got an email invitation for a software engineer interview at MicroStrategy in Argentina.

The recruiter I spoke with was a young HR generalist, and the experience didn’t feel like it had much substance. The conversation was basically filled with very common questions, and I didn’t feel like much was communicated about the role or the company.

It was difficult to take the process seriously because it felt more like box-checking than an actual evaluation. Leaving that interview, I couldn’t shake the feeling that the interaction was too vague and didn’t really tell me what I was being assessed on.
