HR called me ahead of time about the interview, and they were genuinely supportive, even giving feedback on the same day.

The interview itself was short, about 30 minutes, and it was very focused on web front-end topics.

I talked about React concepts like flattening an array in JavaScript, plus Virtual DOM and reconciliation. It felt like the interviewer wanted crisp explanations rather than long narratives. Since everything was tightly scoped, I felt like I could come prepared to answer the specific React ideas they cared about, and the quick turnaround on feedback was the most surprising part.
