My first technical assessment was an automated remote test where I had to share my entire screen for the whole time, and failing to do that would disqualify the application.

They also clearly prohibited using LLMs like ChatGPT or code assistants, though internet searches were allowed.

The main task was practical and a bit unusual: I downloaded provided Dockerfiles and had to fix a broken environment configuration so a legacy codebase could run successfully. It felt like they were measuring how well I could debug setup issues and make systems work end to end, and it took real focus because the rules were strict and the target was infrastructure rather than just writing code.
