Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

One conversation I had early on didn’t end up going anywhere for cultural reasons.

During the discussion, the interviewer mentioned they required people to work six days a week, and they also suggested they didn’t expect going to the office on Saturdays. I tried to understand the expectation, but when I was asked to align with it, I told them I couldn’t do that—I wasn’t comfortable with the culture based on that schedule.

It wasn’t a technical screen and it didn’t turn into a deeper interview about my background. The deciding factor was simply fit and what the role demanded day to day. I didn’t get an offer, and honestly the experience reinforced that schedule expectations
