The first step was a recruiter phone interview, followed by a technical interview with a team member.

The technical portion was split cleanly into two halves: one part was about my background—personal questions tied to my experience—and the other half was a live coding problem.

It felt pretty balanced: they didn’t only test whether I could solve something on the spot, and they also wanted to understand how my experience connected to the work. The coding segment added some pressure, but it was tightly scoped, so it didn’t drag.

I didn’t receive an offer, but the experience felt clear and fair, with the questions mapped directly to the role rather than being overly vague.
