McKinsey & Consultant interview experience

My case was extremely challenging, and what made it feel even harder was the interviewer’s demeanor.

The woman who interviewed me wasn’t friendly, and honestly that tension made it much more difficult to complete the case.

The difficulty level felt very high, and although the case itself was already a challenge, the lack of warmth from the interviewer added another layer of pressure. Even if I understood what I was supposed to do, I felt like the environment didn’t support me as I worked through it.

I didn’t get an offer. The main reflection I had was that the case difficulty was only half of the struggle—the interpersonal tone ended up shaping how hard it felt to perform.
