I was contacted by phone about my application a couple of weeks after I’d applied.

The recruiter I spoke with was genuinely friendly and responsive, which immediately made the conversation feel comfortable.

That call was mostly about getting the process started and setting expectations—nothing felt aggressive or overly complicated. I didn’t end up receiving an offer, but the first contact itself was a positive, reassuring entry point because the person on the phone clearly knew what the next steps were.
