My process started with a recruiter, and after an initial chat I had a roughly 30-minute telephone conversation to talk through the role and my current requirements.

It felt like a practical check-in rather than anything too heavy.

After that, I was invited onsite to deliver a small presentation and then answer a further round of more formal interview questions. That onsite step was the most involved part for me, because it combined communicating my thinking clearly in a short presentation with a more structured Q&A right after.

Even though the onsite portion sounded more formal than the recruiter stage, I still found it manageable overall. I didn’t end up with an offer, but the journey felt like it was progressing in clear stages from fit and logistics
