I had a two-person interview where one interviewer came from the function side and the other was HR.

The exchange felt relaxed from the start, and both interviewers seemed genuinely focused on putting me at ease and building rapport so I wouldn’t freeze.

The function interviewer asked questions related to the job, while HR asked more general questions. Honestly, that atmosphere helped me present myself more professionally and clearly than I expected going in, and it made the whole thing feel less like an interrogation and more like a conversation about fit.
