MBDA Software Engineer interview experience

My process began with a phone interview, followed by an in-person meeting.

The phone stage was with very difficult interviewers who didn’t make it feel easy to even ask questions, and it had a distinctly closed-off vibe.

What made it more frustrating was that there weren’t technical questions at all. Instead, it felt like they were mainly looking for me to mirror how they operated, and it didn’t seem like bringing a fresh idea or having a different perspective would be valued.

I didn’t get an offer, and the overall experience felt less like assessing technical fit and more like cultural alignment through a narrow lens.
