My interview started with a brief introduction, and then I was asked why I wanted to become a business analyst.

From there, the interviewer walked me through the job scope.

One of the key things they emphasized was compensation—they said they could give 100% of my current salary plus commission. That made the conversation feel more sales-oriented than purely analytical, but the pay discussion was very clear.

I didn’t receive an offer, but the process itself was short and straightforward. The biggest takeaway was that the role and compensation model were framed in a way that leaned heavily on commission.
