Maersk Frontend Engineer interview experience

The recruiter expected me to be available for calls and seemed unable to plan around my schedule. When I told them I was on vacation, they still called anyway.

I agreed to plan a call despite being away, but I ended up receiving a rejection letter instead. The reason given was that being on vacation was “too much” for them to handle. That explanation didn’t make sense to me because I’d still tried to accommodate.

The most frustrating part was not just the rejection itself—it was the lack of coordination and communication that led up to it.
