San Francisco, CAPosted May 2024 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I did a phone screen that was used to understand Lyft as a product, and it included stats and probability questions tied to their use cases.

The conversation felt like it was anchored in real metric thinking rather than abstract theory, and I remember the questions staying directly connected to how Lyft would evaluate outcomes.

After that, I still didn’t receive an offer. Even though the technical vibe felt aligned with the role, I didn’t get clear next steps afterward, so the overall experience ended without a satisfying sense of closure.
