Lyft’s process was a few steps, and I ended up not moving past an early stage.

It included a resume screen, a take-home assignment, and then three video interviews covering product sense, execution, and leadership.

I only made it as far as the product sense video interview. After that, the process stopped for me, and I didn’t reach the later execution or leadership stages.

I didn’t get an offer. The big thing I remember was how selective it felt—once I missed the bar at the product sense stage, there wasn’t a longer ramp-up into the rest of the evaluation.
