My screen was handled by an automated screener app, and the technology didn’t behave smoothly.

I remember the process being distracting because watching myself record felt uncomfortable, and the app issues added extra friction while I was trying to perform.

Even so, I was surprised to get a call from a live HR representative afterward, especially since I felt like I didn’t do my best in the video interview. The call didn’t change the final result.

I didn’t get the role and there was no offer. What stayed with me was how much the tooling experience influenced my nerves, and how quickly everything still ended after that.
