Lumen Network Engineer interview experience

I struggled more than I expected with the questions themselves, and I got feedback that my answers came across as unfocused. What helped me stand out was a presentation I gave about researching the company—it seemed to land well, and that section made the overall experience feel more positive than the rest.

When I reflect on it, the hardest part was that I didn’t feel fully sharp on the interview format. Even though the presentation was a highlight, the rest of the questioning didn’t play as smoothly for me, and that mismatch colored how I felt going through the process.
