At my university career fair, I interviewed in a friendly setup that started with straightforward questions about me—my background, the projects I’d worked on, and my previous internship.

It felt less like an interrogation and more like they were getting context before going deeper.

The technical questions covered OOP concepts and DSA, and they also touched systems topics like threads and processes, including multithreading, and race conditions. I had to connect these concepts back to how I’d worked on real projects.

I didn’t get an offer. Even though the structure felt transparent and approachable, the overall technical depth they were probing seemed tough enough that it didn’t end in a positive decision for me.
