Lpl Financial Software Engineer interview experience

From the moment it began, the interview didn’t feel strong to me.

They barely asked any specific questions about my experience or the skills I’d used. The discussion had very few questions overall, so I didn’t feel like the interview was actually trying to evaluate what I could do. I remember feeling like I would have turned down an offer purely based on that interview alone, because it felt like a glimpse into what working there might be like—light on substance and depth.
