I had a simple two-part interview: one behavioral and one technical.

The behavioral section focused heavily on my resume and my own history—things like strengths and weaknesses, a failure, and leadership experiences.

The technical portion asked about authentication versus authorization and also database indexing. It honestly felt like the easiest interview I’d had, because the questions were direct and didn’t turn into a deep, live problem.

Even though it went smoothly, I didn’t receive an offer. Still, the experience left me thinking the interview format was well aligned with the kinds of concepts being evaluated.
