After getting accepted into the next stage, my technical path involved a Karat-run interview.

The work started with an evaluation of code—reviewing front-end code and then moving into a coding test that included debugging and adding new features to existing code.

Once I finished that, the next steps shifted away from live coding into online assessments and more one-person interviewing. The process felt like it was designed to measure both technical execution and how I handled interactive tasks under review.

I didn’t receive an offer, but what stuck with me was the specific mixture of reading and improving existing code, rather than only writing something from scratch.
