After a recruiter-style kickoff, my process moved pretty directly into technical evaluation, and then into additional rounds that blended discussion with values and design.

At the start I had a phone technical interview focused on C# and .NET internals and concepts—things like memory management and how LINQ methods differ, including the distinction between First() and Single(). It wasn’t vague; it was the kind of questioning where you either know the behavior or you have to reason it out.

Then I was pulled into more technical discussion that went beyond just “which framework” and leaned into design and reasoning. I remember being asked to talk through architecture and explain how I’d approach solving a problem at hand, which made it feel less like a trivia test
