After applying, I went straight into what felt like a round focused on building and coding concepts.

I started by talking through project-related work, and then the interview shifted into game-engine style fundamentals—mostly 2D game questions tied to C#.

I was asked how to add sprites and about the functions and mechanics you’d typically connect in a game engine. The tone was very focused on implementation details rather than broad storytelling, and it tied together both engine concepts and C# programming ideas. Overall it felt difficult, and I didn’t end up receiving an offer.
