My interview process for an IC2 Apps software engineering role had just two stages, and both were fairly distinct.

The first round was a DSA-focused problem where I had to solve and implement the solution.

The second round was a discussion of my resume—projects and how I’d approached them. It didn’t feel like they were testing a huge variety of topics back to back; instead, the format separated hands-on problem solving from how I presented my work and choices.

I ended up getting an offer. Honestly, the simplicity of the two-part structure helped me stay grounded, because I always knew which mode we were in: code first, then conversation about my experience.
