The interview started with a quick intro, and then I was immediately given an advanced DSA question.

After a brief setup where I shared my favorite topic, I was asked to find the majority element and discuss different approaches.

The structure made it feel more like a conversation about problem-solving strategies than a single-path puzzle. It was still difficult overall, though, and I didn’t leave feeling completely confident about everything I covered.

I didn’t get an offer. My reflection was that the question tested both my algorithm knowledge and my ability to compare approaches under pressure, which I didn’t fully nail.
