A recruiter call set the tone right away: the phone interview would be run by a manager and a senior software engineer.

They started on time and the interview lasted about 45 minutes.

The questions covered a mix of C, OOP, Java, embedded programming, binary code, and even some pseudo-code programming. What I remember most was how wide the technical surface area was—this wasn’t a narrow topic screen. The friendly pacing made it feel manageable, but the content was definitely substantive enough that I couldn’t rely on generalities.
