My recruiter call went well, and I was told I’d hear back, but then I got ghosted afterward.

I followed up by email more than once, and I still didn’t get a reply. That lack of follow-through also happened after other rounds where I spoke with recruiting, the hiring manager, and a field CTO—despite multiple pings, I ended up with no updates for months.

The worst part wasn’t just waiting, it was how poorly the process communicated after the interviews. By the time things finally went quiet, I was left with a very poor overall impression.
