A recruiter reached out and we talked for about 40 minutes about the role.

I went in thinking it would just be a straightforward one-on-one recruiter chat, and the vibe was quick and simple.

What surprised me was how the conversation shifted during the process. Someone else popped in and asked me questions, without really explaining what had changed, and then that person stopped participating and the recruiter moved on. It felt like the interview dynamically changed while I was already in progress, and overall it didn’t feel like a long, structured set of rounds.

No offer came out of it, but the experience felt light and fast rather than difficult.
