My experience started positively enough: a recruiter reached out and I got interviewed by HR and then the head in Tokyo, with the interviews feeling smooth.

After that, though, the process dragged. I didn’t hear back for about two months, even after I followed up multiple times and asked for an update.

As time passed, the lack of communication began to feel disrespectful. I kept reaching out for clarity, but I never received a clear “yes” or “no,” just silence. By the end, it left a really sour impression—not because the interviews themselves were bad, but because the follow-through on such a straightforward matter never happened.
