My initial call with the recruiter set a worrying tone.

I had questions about the role, but the recruiter couldn’t answer them, and it felt like she wasn’t really paying attention to what I was asking or even listening to me.

After that, communication fell off a cliff. She didn’t just fail to provide next steps—she basically ghosted me. I kept following up and still never got the update I expected.

I didn’t reach a later stage, and I left the whole thing feeling like the process wasn’t just unsuccessful, it was carelessly handled. The hardest part wasn’t the rejection itself; it was how dismissive the lack of response felt.
