Klaviyo Data Scientist interview experience

I had an hour-long technical round with a team member where we started with basic probability and then moved into coding. After that, the conversation turned into a mini case that required me to tie the reasoning together rather than only show syntax.

I didn’t make it to a second round. Even though the decision was quick, the recruiter afterwards was genuinely helpful and willing to chat about what I could improve—so I didn’t feel totally left in the dark. Overall it felt like a straightforward technical evaluation, just not one where I got the chance to extend the story into later stages.
