Mountain View, CAPosted Nov 2025 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

The recruiter got me scheduled, and then I went into a technical interview that felt deeply unfair from the start.

The interviewer mentioned a time conflict, and I tried to offer a reschedule so the assessment would actually have room to happen properly, but that request got brushed off. What followed didn’t feel like a real evaluation of my problem-solving—it felt like being guided toward a predetermined solution.

During the coding portion, the interviewer insisted I follow their specific approach rather than letting me work through the problem in my own way. On top of that, they required unit tests throughout the coding, and it ate into the time I would’ve otherwise spent showing algorithmic thinking.
