Just Eat Takeaway Full Stack Engineer interview experience

The technical conversation included questions like the difference between an API and a REST API, and how communication works between microservices.

We also covered general questions about projects I’d done and how those experiences connected to what the team would be doing. The tone was engaged and fairly direct.

I didn’t receive an offer, but it didn’t feel like a mismatch due to lack of communication. It felt more like the standard technical screen and discussion style—just not one that landed in a successful decision for me.
