Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory Network Engineer interview experience

A hiring manager reached out for a quick intro call, then the recruiting team gave me an overview of the organization and role I was being considered for.

An onsite interview was scheduled and it lasted about two hours. During the onsite, I could tell the panels were focusing on how my experience matched the role and the kind of work they did. One part included a whiteboard exercise that felt extremely simplistic, especially given the level I was applying for. I left the interview feeling like it had gone fine, but later HR sent a very impersonal message that they weren’t moving forward.
