JLR Software Engineer interview experience

It felt easy for me personally, but the process itself was slow and drawn out, and I couldn’t shake the sense that timing played a big role.

I was told it likely related to how many candidates were in the pipeline at the time, and that they weren’t hiring externally because of financial pressures. So even though there wasn’t a stressful technical story in the background, the delay and uncertainty were what stood out most.

It didn’t end with an offer, and my main takeaway was that the difficulty wasn’t the interviews—it was the waiting and the lack of momentum.
