My loop emphasized collaborative problem solving more than a LeetCode-style format.

I ended up covering system design and lower-level programming topics like visual machines and compilers.

There wasn’t much about “special preparation” in the way the interview was framed. It felt more like they wanted me to be fluent in the language I chose and comfortable thinking aloud while building toward a solution.

I didn’t get an offer, but it felt more like an intellectual discussion than a checklist assessment. The hardest part wasn’t knowing facts—it was keeping my reasoning structured while tackling systems-adjacent problems.
